What an excellent day we had! A complete beginner with a 1m+ Kingfish in 60m on soft plastics with a 5-10kg outfit ... does it get any better than that on your first charter? Well it may do as we'll be back for sure, and the crew were just so helpful, friendly and extremely dedicated to getting everyone involved and looking after their needs. Their experience is key here and very apparent when you drop that first line in the water. I really could not fault the day at all. Thanks for a wonderful time, and we'll see you again very soon!

I would like to express our absolute enjoyment whilst on your fishing charter last Saturday (23/10/2010). All six of us were more than impressed by you and Shaun's professionalism, experience and knowledge of deep sea and reef fishing. I personally have been on many fishing charters, and I can say without reservation that yours was outstanding. You and Shaun went over and above what would normally be expected in assisting us to have a great day. The results depict this, with a number of large Yellow Tail Kingfish, Amber Jacks, Snapper, Jew Fish, Pearl Perch, and a variety of other reef and pelagic species.
The boat is very well equipped, the fishing gear top quality and the food and drinks were top notch as well. Keep up the great work, you even have a couple of our group who hadn't been on a charter before hooked. I have no hesitation in recommending RU4 Reel Fishing Charters to the novice or the more experienced.

What a cracker of a day. Just want to throw out a big thank you to Roderick and his dedicated deckhand Dion for a fantastic day out in the open sea catching a great variety of fish including, Snapper, Pearl Perch, King Fish, Cobia, Amber Jack, Trag Jew and a number of Reef Fish. We could not fault anything at all, the Boat was first class and all the gear was top of the range. Rod took us to many different spots to try put us onto as many big fish a possible. The highlight of the day for us was when Will (who is only 11 years old) hooked onto a big Kingy, but the line got caught around the prop, we all thought Will would lose it but Dion the Decky stripped down to his boardies (Thank Christ... no budgies) jumped into the water, dived down to the prop and untangled the line for Will to land his first Kingy which was one of the biggest for the day. That just goes to show how much dedication these two blokes have! Once again we all would like to thank Roderick and Dion for a great day of fishing and we will be recommending your charter to everyone that wants to catch great fish with two top blokes!

Having worked in the tackle industry for nearly 30 years, I've been fortunate to fish with many charter operators all over the world. After a group of mates and I recently had our second charter this year on RU4REEL, I can honestly say these guys are up there with the very best of them. The boat is immaculately maintained, fitted with the very best electronics and the gear provided was in first class condition. The skipper Roderick has a vast local knowledge and his willingness to try different techniques and areas to find fish, was much appreciated. In addition, with the hard working Dion taking care of things on the deck, I doubt anyone would go home fishless on a charter with these guys. RU4REEL is without a doubt one of THE game and sport fishing charters on the east coast of Australia. Skipper Roderick Walmsley has experience game fishing in two continents and that combined with his intimate offshore knowledge of the Tweed Heads and the Gold Coast has drawn me back to fish the area time and time again. The Tweed is a truly magnificent fishery and for me the attraction is the overlap of tropical and sub tropical species. It's amazing to fish the one area and target GTs alongside XOX Kingies! Add to that the possibility of a 400 kilo blue marlin, plenty of small blacks, yellowfin, wahoo, Mackeral and some of the biggest dolphin fish in Australia!
